This program is a great fit if you’re looking for a short course of two, 75-minute sessions offering limited interaction with the community, but loads of information.
- Tuesday, September 3 (7pm – 8:15pm Eastern)
- Thursday, September 5 (7pm – 8:15pm Eastern)
- Webinar-style program with closed captioning available and limited interaction in the chat
- Recordings available until October 31, 2024
Why This Workshop?
Illustrators live to create, but (lets be honest), it’s tough to create (enough) to live. This short course builds on our love of art with something we don’t always talk about: generating sustainable revenue streams outside of publishing from our creativity.
Join illustrators Leeza Hernandez and Courtney Pippin-Mathur to gain valuable insights into the world of school visits, teaching, licensing and tips for expanding your reach and maximizing the value of your illustrations.

- Combine art skills with marketing to create engaging flyers and marketing materials

- Navigate how to create and sell your artwork as prints and stickers online (and make a profit!)

- And more!
Feedback Expected

It’s a Great Fit If…
- You are an illustrator or author/illustrator, and are looking for opportunities for showcasing your artwork (both inside and outside the publishing industry).
- You are looking for ideas about generating income streams while still making time to create!
- You’re looking for something short, sweet, and smart! This is not a full workshop; they are short sessions meant to open the door to new opportunities for illustrators.
