Author Nathalie Alonso is an editorial producer and reporter for LasMayores.com, Major League Baseball’s official Spanish language website. She is also a freelance journalist with bylines in TIME for Kids, National Geographic and Outside, among other publications. She is a member of the Baseball Writers’ Association of America and holds a B.A. in American studies from Columbia University.
Nathalie is the author of three forthcoming picture books: Old Clothes for Dinner?! (Barefoot Books, Spring 2024), Call Me Roberto! (Calkins Creek, Fall 2024) and ¡Viva Valenzuela! (Calkins Creek, Spring 2026). She also co-authored Hispanic Star: Ellen Ochoa and Hispanic Star: Sonia Sotomayor (Roaring Brook Press, 2023) and writes nonfiction for the educational market.
