Gail Carson Levine is best known for Ella Enchanted, which won a Newbery honor and was made into a major motion picture. Two of Gail’s books, Dave at Night and A Ceiling Made of Eggshells, plus her work-in-progress, The Unusuals (working title) explore Jewish history, both in the 1920’s and in the Middle Ages. Gail’s latest book, Sparrows in the Wind, is a retelling of the myth of the Trojan War. Writing Magic and Writer to Writer are her how-to guides for kids about writing stories.
