Lisa Moore Ramée

Lisa Moore Ramée is an award-winning author, whose middle grade novels focus on family, friendship and finding one’s own way. Her books often look at complicated societal problems from a middle grade lens. Lisa is the proud recipient of the BCALA First Novelist Award and several of her books are Junior Library Guild selections. Her debut novel, A GOOD KIND OF TROUBLE, is a Walter Dean Meyers Honor book, a Golden Poppy Honoree, a Nerdy Book Awardee, an Indie bestseller and made many state and “best of” lists. She is also the author of SOMETHING TO SAY, MAPMAKER and THE EVERYBODY EXPERIMENT. Lisa grew up in Los Angeles, CA and still calls it home, despite currently residing in the Bay Area of Northern California. She is a devout beliver of dreams coming true.
