A few weeks ago, we celebrated the dedication of the Jerome Weisman Art Studio. The Studio honors Jerry Weisman, whose artwork appeared in 500+ issues of Highlights for Children during his 43-year career.
Jerry spent many an evening visiting in the living room of the house with Highlights founders Garry and Caroline Myers, and would have looked out the living room window to what was the “chicken coop.” Today, it honors his memory and serves as a working space for other children’s illustrators, as they produce art that will inspire kids (just like he did).
