Muslim Storytellers Fellow Khadijah VanBrakle has announced her first two-book deal.  Congratulations Khadijah!

My Book Deal Announcement: Highlights Foundation Muslim Storytellers Fellow Khadijah VanBrakle's FATIMA TAKES THE CAKE, a debut contemporary in which an aspiring baker and brilliant Black Muslim teen, must navigate not only first love and sky-high parental expectations but decide what her faith means to her, pitched as I'M NOT YOUR PERFECT MEXICAN DAUGHTER meets THE GREAT BRITISH BAKE OFF, to Mora Couch at Holiday House, in a two-book deal, for publication in June 2023, by Kristina Perez at Zeno Agency (world).
